SAXE INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL

Connecticut State Requirement for 6th Grade Students

Connecticut State Law requires ALL students to have a physical exam during sixth grade. The CT Health Assessment form needs to be on file in the nurse’s office by the last day of 6th grade. We accept physicals dated from June 1, 2024. Upon completion of the exam, please email the completed CT health assessment record to the lower division health office. 8th to 9th Grade Transition

8th to 9th Grade Transition Coffee - January 7th, 2025

The "8th to 9th Grade Transition Coffee" was provided to help 8th grade parents learn about what your child can expect as they move from Saxe to New Canaan High School from NCHS staff. A recording of this coffee is now available.

Your Adventure Awaits with the New Canaan Land Trust's Spring Raffle Fundraiser. A fantastic opportunity to win 2 Ultra light Kevlar Hornbeck Canoes fully outfitted with paddles, PFD's and easy transport straps. Plus more prizes to win! Tickets are $50 each and only 1,000 tickets are available. Raffle ends on 4/22 (Earth Day!). All proceeds are used for the work we do in New Canaan to ensure land conservation for future generations.
